Burley In Wharfedale
Pump Track

Opening Saturday 30th May - 10:30AM - FOR GOOD!

It’s finally happening!

2018 was the year we first did a fact finding mission. We ran a petition to see how many people would be keen for a pump track in the area. In 24 hours, we had over 1000 signatures and comments, and that was more than enough in our books to get the ball well and truly rolling.

TWENTY TWENTY SIX

Fast forward through 7 years, a lot of meetings, site visits, red tape, blue tape, green tape, drainage hurdles, planning requirements, fundraising events and even more meetings and we’re so proud to say that we (with a huge amount of help from you) have ‘done it’ and a pump track will be coming to Burley In Wharfedale in spring/summer 2026.

£250,000 RAISED WITH A HUGE HELP FROM YOU!

OPENING MAY 30TH

That’s right! We’re launching on Saturday May 30th and will be cutting the ribbon and opening the track for good at 10:30am.

Following years of dedicated community fundraising and a very efficient construction by industry-leading track builders Velosolutions,  the Burley-in-Wharfedale Pump Track is officially ready to welcome riders from this coming weekend. We’re very excited to invite the community to celebrate the grand opening of the track on Saturday, May 30th, marking the completion of this gold standard pump track.

We’ll be kicking off the launch event with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 AM at the Burley Recreation Ground (LS29 7DJ - right beside the existing basketball court). Immediately following the ceremony, the tracks will be declared open to the public to enjoy for good. So please come down and enjoy a day of celebrations, riding the tracks on and hanging out in what we hope will be another sunny day!
