What’s Our Project All About?
And why will Burley In Wharfedale benefit?

It’s been a year and a half since we started fund raising for the Burley In Wharfedale pump track project and in that time we’ve managed to raise a little over £200,000 towards our goal. A huge amount in a short space of time and an amount that means that we’re on track to start works in 2025.
We’re writing this at the end of January 2025 as we start preparing the specification for the contractors to be able to get their final quotes in before we make a decision. We’re going to announce some future fundraising events soon to keep building on the support we’ve had so far, so keep eyes peeled for those.
A big shout out to everyone who’s donated to the crowdfunder so far and supported the project through fundraiser events and donations. Also, a huge thanks to all our commercial and charitable donors who’ve backed the project to date.

We are delighted to finally be able to launch our crowd funder for the Burley In Wharfedale pump track and balance bike projects. It’s been a busy couple of years for us to get to this point and now it’s time for us all to rally together to make this project a reality in 2025. That’s right! We’ve already raised £150,000 towards our project. A huge thanks to our supporters so far who are the Burley In Wharfedale Parish Council & Community Trust, PayDirt, Orbea Bicycles and Ilkley and Otley Cycling Clubs. And, of course the great community within the Wharfe Valley that donated at the Burley Summer Festival in 2023.
