After 6 years in the making, a Velosolutions pump track is coming to Burley In Wharfedale in 2026
It’s finally happening!
2018 was the year we first did a fact finding mission. We ran a petition to see how many people would be keen for a pump track in the area. In 24 hours, we had over 1000 signatures and comments, and that was more than enough in our books to get the ball well and truly rolling.
TWENTY TWENTY SIX
Fast forward through 7 years, a lot of meetings, site visits, red tape, blue tape, green tape, drainage hurdles, planning requirements, fundraising events and even more meetings and we’re so proud to say that we (with a huge amount of help from you) have ‘done it’ and a pump track will be coming to Burley In Wharfedale in spring/summer 2026.

We’re just a little excited to have Velosolutions appointment as the contractor for our track. Velo’ are one of the best in the business when it comes to pump tracks, so we’re in very good hands.
We’re due to break ground in February with completion set for late spring, early summer. Keep an eye on our Instagram for updates nearer the time.
